The raid to apprehend the son of imprisoned cartel kingpin Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman resulted in the deaths of 10 soldiers and 19 criminal suspects, according to the Mexican government's announcement on Friday.

Washington claims that after Mexico extradited his father to the United States in 2017, Ovidio Guzman, 32, also known as "El Raton" (The Mouse), has assisted in managing the family's illicit enterprise.
