Road Closures for IRONMAN 70.3 and Related Events in Davao City: Plan Your Route and Join the Excitement!

 Davao City Local Government announces road closures for the upcoming Alveo IRONMAN 70.3 Davao, IRONGIRLS, and IRONKIDS events from March 24 to 26, 2023.

On March 24, 2023, the IRONGIRLS event will temporarily close the northbound lane of R. Castillo St. from corner Azuela Cove to corner San Nicolas Road (Techno-Trade Resources Davao) from 4:00 P.M to 8:00 P.M. The southbound lane will remain open to be utilized for two-way traffic.

From 3:00 AM to 10:30 AM on March 26, 2023, the southbound lane from Azuela Cove to Lasang (to Panabo-Tagum) will be closed for the IRONMAN 70.3 bike course. After the cycling course, the southbound lane will be made available for vehicles. From 3:00 A.M. until 12:30 P.M., the northbound lane from Azuela Cove to Lasang will be blocked off to traffic; after that, it will reopen. From corner J.P., the northbound lane will be closed due to the RUN COURSE. From 3:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Laurel Ave./F. Torres St. to Azuela Cove (J.P. Laurel Ave./R. Castillo Jct.). Two-way traffic will still be able to use the southbound lane.

The City Transport and Traffic Management Office in Davao City encourages the public to take alternative routes and make necessary adjustments to their travel plans during the event days.
