Dagupan City Police Ensure Peace and Security at Easter Sunday Observance
Dagupan City Police Station personnel, under the leadership of PLTCOL VICENTE P CASTOR JR, the Acting COP, participated in the recent "ABET-ABET ED OLIN INBILAY" event in observance of the Easter Sunday celebration. The event was held at Tondaligan Beach, Mc Arthur Landing Park, Bonuan Gueset, Dagupan City, Pangasinan, and was presided over by Archbishop Socrates Villegas.
In addition to attending the event, the police officers also provided security to guarantee the participants' safety. Along with more seasoned cops, the squad also included Police Trainees, Field Training cops (FTOs), and Public Safety Office (POSO) personnel.
The "ABET-ABET ED OLIN INBILAY" event is a traditional Easter Sunday observance in the region, where devotees chant and pray while walking around the beach carrying the image of the resurrected Christ. This year's event was particularly significant as it marked the first time it was held since the pandemic began.

Their presence provided a sense of security to the participants and allowed them to fully immerse themselves in the spiritual observance of Easter Sunday.
